Odyssey Lab LLC (“Odyssey Lab,” “we,” or “us”) operates odysseylab.co. This policy describes what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.
What we collect
The only personal information we collect through this site is what you submit to us directly through the contact form:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Topic / project type
- The message you write
- The fact that you checked the contact-consent box (with timestamp)
We do not run third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or analytics that build profiles across other sites. We log basic request data on the server (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for routine security and reliability purposes only; that log rotates and is not used for profiling.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, scope a possible engagement, and follow up about that conversation. If we work together, your contact info becomes part of the engagement record. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for marketing.
We may share information when required by law, when necessary to operate the site (for example, a transactional email provider that delivers our reply), or when you ask us to (for example, a referral to another operator if the fit is wrong on our end).
Contact consent (TCPA)
If you check the contact-consent box and provide a phone number, you agree to be contacted by phone, text, or email at the contact info you provided. Standard messaging rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any text or by emailing [email protected].
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to have the conversation, scope an engagement, and (if we work together) maintain the engagement record. After that, we delete the message body and retain only minimal contact and billing information required by law. You can request deletion of your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Stop contacting you
Send those requests to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time. We do not charge for these requests.
Children
The site is intended for business contact. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information you submit. No internet transmission is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the site, but we apply industry-standard practices and limit access to those who need it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
