Privacy Policy

Odyssey Lab LLC (“Odyssey Lab,” “we,” or “us”) operates odysseylab.co. This policy describes what information we collect through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.

What we collect

The only personal information we collect through this site is what you submit to us directly through the contact form:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Topic / project type
  • The message you write
  • Whether you checked either optional text-message consent box (with timestamp)

We do not run third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or analytics that build profiles across other sites. We log basic request data on the server (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for routine security and reliability purposes only; that log rotates and is not used for profiling.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, scope a possible engagement, and follow up about that conversation. If we work together, your contact info becomes part of the engagement record. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for marketing.

We may share information when required by law, when necessary to operate the site (for example, a transactional email provider that delivers our reply), or when you ask us to (for example, a referral to another operator if the fit is wrong on our end).

Text messages (SMS)

The contact form has two optional text-message boxes. If you check the first one and give a mobile number, Odyssey Lab LLC may text you about your inquiry, such as scheduling and follow-ups; message frequency varies. If you check the second one, we may also send occasional marketing texts about our services, up to 4 messages per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time, or email [email protected]. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full program details are in our SMS Terms.

Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to have the conversation, scope an engagement, and (if we work together) maintain the engagement record. After that, we delete the message body and retain only minimal contact and billing information required by law. You can request deletion of your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Stop contacting you

Send those requests to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time. We do not charge for these requests.

Children

The site is intended for business contact. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information you submit. No internet transmission is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the site, but we apply industry-standard practices and limit access to those who need it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
